Securing Survival. Saving Lives.

Supporting underprivileged hospitals with critical care equipment and funding life-saving surgeries for those in need.

About Us

Providing the Tools to Survive

The Salman Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving surgical outcomes in underserved communities. We believe that the quality of life-saving treatment should never be determined by a patient’s financial status.

Our work focuses on the high-stakes environments where lives are most often lost: surgical ORs, post-operative surgical ICUs, and medical ICUs. By equipping these units with essential technology — from portable X-ray units and advanced ventilatory support to specialized monitoring and funding emergency procedures for those in financial despair — we ensure that treatable conditions remain treatable. Every intervention is designed in direct collaboration with the frontline clinicians who know their patients’ needs best.

Our Mission: Because No One Should Die From a Treatable Condition. Every year, countless lives are lost not for a lack of medical knowledge, but for a lack of infrastructure. When a hospital lacks ICU capacity or a family cannot afford an emergency procedure, a survivable complication becomes a tragedy. The Salman Foundation exists to rewrite that narrative. We provide the missing components of the critical-care environment, from basic oxygen delivery to sophisticated monitoring. While we address today’s emergencies, we are building toward advanced capabilities, including ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), upgraded surgical suites, and specialized clinical education to ensure sustainable, world-class results.

A Legacy of Healing

The Salman Foundation honors the life of Salman Niazi, a final-year medical student and congenital heart patient. Salman died from a postoperative hemorrhage, a complication that is survivable with proper monitoring and intervention. Right before his passing, he was already using his own funds to sponsor surgeries for children. We carry his mission forward by providing the tools and time needed to give every patient a fighting chance.
